Here is the scoop: If you want to find all kinds of crazy in reality TV, you need only to tune in for SOUTH BEACH TOW on truTV.
Last night, Bernice was Bernice, and everybody knows: You do not mess with Bernice, even when she is in a good mood, as she was on last night’s episode. An unfortunate would-be rapper took his rhyme to the wrong crowd last night when he tried to shame Bernice into dropping his car—and then he went a step too far when he snatched her shades and threw them onto the pavement, where they were quickly crushed by an oncoming car. It didn’t take long for Bernice to go ballistic, and as the guy tried to make his getaway, Bernice took out her no-longer-good-mood angst on his little yellow car, literally flipping it over on its side with the “rapper” in it. Once again we learned: You just do not mess with Bernice.
The as-of-yet nameless tow team of Perez and Christie—although the creative name of South Beach Tow Company was floated out there by Kosgrove last night—spent the show searching for an actual tow yard for the business, after last week’s explosive episode. They finally landed at a junkyard, which they bought and gave at least a street address to the business—now, for a name, and some serious clearing of junk.
The bank repoing that $600,000 Lamborghini last night would probably NOT be impressed to find out that its car was sitting on that particular lot, amongst pile after dangerous pile of twisted metal and broken-down vehicles, although, on the other hand, it is probably pretty safe. After all, who would think to look for it there?
And, ol’ J-Money was playing the ladies as usual, scheduling a “double date,” J-Money style: one at 10p and another at midnight. Think the ladies were clued in on his tight schedule? No matter; J-Money’s cousin showed up with his son, unceremoniously dropping him on J-Money to babysit for two weeks while he goes out on a construction job in another state. But, never count J-Money out when it comes to creative fixes to his dating dilemmas—stay tuned.
